Helping One Chef 86 Hunger

Showcase Kitchens is proud to sponsor Chef Max Hardy’s One Chef Can 86 Hunger Foundation.  For the month-long “Feed the Community” events, a multitude of volunteers fed low-income families and the homeless in a 4 communities each weekend in October. Starck family members including Anthony, John, his daughter, Brianna and Knicks player, Amar'e Stoudemire were on hand for the final and main event in Harlem.

The entire event benefits One Chef Can 86 Hunger, which was founded in 2011. Its goal is to help fight the hunger crisis in America and educate people on maintaining a healthy and cost effective lifestyle. The foundation also raises money for students in culinary arts programs. The Long-term goal of the One Chef Can 86 Hunger Foundation is to build culinary programs in lower in-come areas across the nation instilling in the youth the important of hard work and healthy eating.
