A Timeless Design Made for Family Living

When our client and her family decided to renovate their home, the kitchen was at the top of their list. Their existing space was filled with memories, but it was ready for an update that reflected how their family lives today. The goal was simple: expand the footprint, replace the aging cabinetry and appliances, and create a kitchen that felt both fresh and familiar.

Working with Showcase designer Taylor Sucoff, our client envisioned a light-filled, neutral kitchen that would stand the test of time. Taylor describes the finished space as “a classic white kitchen with beautiful, timeless details.” Layers of texture — from the hand-crafted Zellige tile backsplash to the soft veining of the quartz countertops — bring depth and warmth to the design. Every surface was selected to feel refined yet inviting, balancing a crisp palette.

One of the most beloved features is the peninsula connecting the kitchen and dining area. It’s more than just a design element; it’s where daily life happens. “My husband and I read the newspaper there on weekends with coffee,” our client shares. “And our kids sit there every morning before school. It’s a feature that the whole family uses and loves.”

Beyond its aesthetic beauty, this kitchen captures what we value most at Showcase: thoughtful craftsmanship, personalized design, and spaces that bring people together. From the first appointment with John Starck to the final installation, the process was collaborative and smooth. Homeowner, Jen, reflects, “We loved our experience working with Showcase Kitchens. John and his entire team were experienced, thoughtful, creative, and kind. Renovations are stressful, but our relationship with Showcase was not, and for that, we are so grateful.”

Great design isn’t just about how a kitchen looks; it’s about how it lives. This project stands as proof that timeless style and everyday comfort can beautifully coexist.
