Winter Coat Drive

We just recently completed our winter 2017 coat drive with One Warm Coat. All proceeds have been dropped off at The Salvation Army, located at 194 Front Street, Hempstead.

We want to thank everyone who came out to donate and make a difference in the many communities across New York. With your help, we were able to raise over 50 pieces of winter clothing, which will hopefully make a difference to those in need over the course of the next few years. Your contributions have been of the utmost importance and are certainly not taken for granted.

Whether they were clients or simply in the neighborhood, seeing all of the people stopping by to contribute to a wonderful cause has been an incredibly humbling, inspiring and heartwarming experience. We are proud to be part of such a caring and supportive community. 

Even though our coat drive has ended, we hope that anyone who has been encouraged or inspired by the generosity of their fellow Long-Islanders will not hesitate to reach out to one of the many donation centers located near by.
